Portfolio / Multi-brand e-commerce

The sale happened inside the conversation.

La Tía de la USA buys original products from US stores and brings them to Colombia. Her channel was Instagram: the feed showed what arrived, and every purchase started with a direct message. We built her a store of her own on WordPress, Elementor and WooCommerce — 468 references organised by category, with prices, variations and online payment — without removing what makes the business work: you can still write to la Tía and have her find what the catalogue does not carry.

01The brief

A community buying by direct message.

Selling through Instagram works until the inventory grows. Yesterday's post sinks into the feed, the product that landed this week has nowhere to live, and every sale opens with the same question: «do you still have it?». The brand had the community and the warehouse; what it lacked was a surface where the stock could be seen whole and bought without asking.

The brief was to build that surface without switching off what already worked. Instagram is still where discovery and trust happen; the store is where that discovery turns into an order at any hour, with the price visible and no waiting for a reply.

Before: the limits of a feed

  • 01The catalogue is whatever was posted
  • 02What's in stock sinks between posts
  • 03Every purchase starts with a message
  • 04No categories, offers or new arrivals
  • 05The warehouse stock is invisible
  • 06The sale depends on the algorithm

Our role

Design and build of the whole store on WordPress, Elementor and WooCommerce: multi-brand catalogue architecture, a home page that works as a rotating window, product pages, cart and online payment, and the trust and after-sales modules around the purchase.

02Architecture

Let the inventory do the work.

In a store whose catalogue changes with every buying trip, the structure cannot depend on redesigning the home page every week.

01 · Window

The home page rotates with stock.

New arrivals, best sellers, trending, featured and offers are modules reading from the catalogue. Publishing what just landed means uploading it to WooCommerce, not rebuilding the page.

02 · Catalogue

Multi-brand, not stuck in one vertical.

Fashion, footwear, beauty, tech, accessories and supplements sit alongside categories by type — men, women, kids, fragrances, phones, promotions — each showing its real reference count.

03 · Special order

What isn't listed can still be bought.

When the product is not in the catalogue the visitor does not leave: they message on WhatsApp and la Tía sources it in the US. The store does not replace the service — it gives it a floor.

03The idea

What this store had to settle.

A store of your own doesn't compete with Instagram: it gives it somewhere to land.

The trust was already built in the feed, and that asset stays untouched. What was missing was the other half: that someone arriving from a story finds the product with its price, its size and its buy button, instead of an inbox.

So the site keeps the personal shopper's voice — shopping assistant, 100% original products, delivery anywhere in Colombia — and adds what a feed cannot: a permanent catalogue, search, categories, offers, and an order that closes without a conversation when the customer does not need one.

04The system

From feed to order, with or without a chat.

Two routes ending in the same place: self-serve purchase for what is in the warehouse, assisted sourcing for what has to be brought in.

    Measurement and SEO
  1. 01

    Arriving from the feed

The visitor comes from Instagram, a search or the link in bio, and lands on a home page opening with what the brand promises: a shopping assistant, original product, delivery anywhere in Colombia.

  2. 02

    Search or browse

Header search and categories with an image and a real count: men, women, kids, fragrances, phones, accessories and promotions. The full catalogue is 468 references.

  3. 03

    Find what just landed

New arrivals, best sellers, trending and offers hold the home page, so recent stock does not depend on someone remembering a story.

  4. 04

    Open the product

Product gallery, price, category and tags, description, and the two seals that carry an imported sale: 100% original product and nationwide delivery.

  5. 05

    Choose and add to cart

Quantity, variations where they apply — size, colour, format — and a cart with its total visible in the header throughout.

  6. 06

    Pay online

WooCommerce checkout with Bold as the gateway: cards, PSE and the methods a Colombian buyer expects, without leaving for another site.

  7. 07

    Or message to order it

If the product is not there, the WhatsApp button opens the same conversation as always: la Tía sources it in the US, confirms availability and price, and arranges the shipment.

  8. 08

    Come back

A newsletter for arrivals and offers, Instagram as community and social proof, and the warranty, shipping, tracking and FAQ pages that carry the second purchase.

468 references · two routes to buy · one inventory

05Trust

Selling imported goods means proving the origin.

When the product comes from abroad, the objection is not the price: it is whether it is genuine and whether it arrives. The site answers both before the cart.

Authenticity

Bought in official stores.

The 100% original seal travels with every product page, and the promise is spelled out on the home page: bought in official US stores, not on a grey market.

Logistics

Delivery anywhere in Colombia.

Nationwide coverage appears in the header, on product pages and in the footer, with dedicated order tracking, returns and warranty pages for what happens after payment.

Service

La Tía still answers.

Shopping assistant, WhatsApp support and special orders: the human half of the business was not automated away — it got a store next to it.

10The outcome

An asset of her own, not a borrowed profile.

latiadelausas.com is live with 468 references organised by category, rotation modules putting fresh stock on the home page, online payment through Bold, WhatsApp special orders, and the warranty, tracking and FAQ pages that carry after-sales. The brand's entire catalogue no longer sits inside a feed it does not control.

And the model funds its own growth: every US buying trip enters the inventory from WordPress and shows up by itself in new arrivals, in its category and in search. Publishing stopped being designing a post; now it is uploading a product.

How it runs

Everything is managed from WordPress: add the product with its photo, price, category and tags. The home page modules — new arrivals, best sellers, trending, offers — read from the same catalogue, so the shop window updates itself with the inventory.

More work

If your shop lives in a feed, your catalogue has a three-day memory.

Selling on social builds trust and community, and nothing replaces that. But stock needs somewhere to stay put, with a price, a category and a buy button. That is what we build — without switching off the channel that already works for you.
